What is going on here? I'm not questioning the admins on this site specifically...it's the entire process.

Maybe it's ONLY ME...and if so, that's fair...but I've been noticing a HUUUUUUUUUGE amount of games getting posted with this "Hypervisor" stuff. I have no earthly clue what that is, or what it does, but the more I read instructions both on here and on FitGirl I am VERY uneasy about this whole thing. I am still kind of a rookie with a lot of this deep diving when it comes to these things. I just keep everything simple...see it, download it, apply the crack (or go the portable route thanx to Zeigames), and play. I still don't understand this Denuvo stuff, but this Hypervisor thing sounds all sorts of risky. I feel like I might damage my computer toying with whatever the hell that is. I have to question why there seems to be such a heavy push with this thing all of a sudden. Is this how games are gonna get posted from now on? No more cracks? No more "portable"? What is going on?

Again, if it's just me, that's fair....I'm basically a rookie. I just don't like the way the wind seems to be blowing.

Can somebody help me understand what's happening, please? Much appreciated.

Thanx for responding, but all this is talking about is a "how to" when it comes to that Hypervisor thing. I am asking why is everybody flooding their sites with it now almost as if cracking and making games portable are no longer desirable. Is "Hypervisor" somehow BETTER? Why is everybody suggesting damn near every game they post be done that way all of a sudden?

And also, from reading everything from here to FitGirl, to the link you gave to CS, it seems complicated as hell, and potentially dangerous to my computer. It doesn't sound like something I would actually "enjoy" doing to play the games I want. I'm just trying to find the "WHY" answer behind the out-of-nowhere interest all of a sudden.

For instance, Zeigames had created a thread just for Denuvo (however the hell you spell it) games, and the process to go through to play them. This Hypervisor thing comes out of nowhere right behind it. That's why I'm asking what is going on. Especially since there are some pretty major games coming up soon. If they are ONLY going to be offered with this new Hypervisor method, I'm going to be left on an island.

Again....if it's just me asking these questions, I can live with that.

First of all, the hypervisor method is only used for games that use Denuvo. Since Denuvo-protected games cannot be cracked, the protection is bypassed using a hypervisor (Denuvo bypass), making the game playable. Of course, this requires you to disable a few security measures. At ZeiGames, we do not force anyone to use a hypervisor. Currently, the only ways to play these games are via a hypervisor or offline activation. I provide the files for those who want to play.

If you see that the hypervisor option is still installed even though the game is already cracked, it’s because the previous cracked versions were designed for Windows 10 and most of them will not work on Windows 11. The only solution for playing on Windows 11 is a hypervisor.

Finally, games will continue to be uploaded normally. Only Denuvo-protected games are being added via hypervisor, so there’s no need for concern.

I also must add that zei´s hypervisor games are absolutely trusted because they come from denuowo (currently the only real trusted source), there are 3 places that would trust hypervisor games (2 of them you mentioned it yourself) and one of them is zeis.

So if you feel like its too risky then stick to traditional cracked games which zei still has a gigantic library with periodic updates.

Thank you so much for breaking that down. I was going by how frequently Hypervisor this and that was showing up almost overnight. It felt like "okay everybody, THIS is how we're doing things from this point forward". But I think I get it now. I've always heard this Denuvo thing was a major roadblock. If Hypervisor is the way to get around it, that's fine and all. I'm still using Windows 10. I don't know anything about Windows 11 yet, but from what I'm hearing, people hate it...especially because of how it screws gaming up.

Either way, thank you for breaking that down. I have about 3 to 5 games coming out this year that I'm really hoping won't have that Hypervisor label attached to it.

Yeah, I was pretty lucky to even bump into this site by mistake. This place has introduced me to games being portable...that's how I prefer them now. But yeah, Hypervisor kinda worries me, so I will stay in my lane. Hopefully something will shake loose and make things easier for us

That's exactly what this whole thing was making me think. I guess I wasn't wording things correctly. I'm glad you guys understood what I was TRYING to say

hey black, I read hv a lot. Since it was THE topic among community for a whole freaking month, while its still potentially unsafe (like everything else) its already way way better than when it first launched, and denuvowo is endorsed and monitored by the community of csrinru, pretty much as safe as it can get.

The fact that we have the direct source here is great, if you go and download from a random youtuber then yea, hv is extremely dangerous.

Also zei still updates non hv stuff really quick so you will probably never run out of stuff to play and tbh, if there wer no HV, then you wouldnt even be playing those games anyway. Dont stress about it and ejoy.

I mean, yeah I totally understand it being seen as safe, but all the disabling and re-enabling and other stuff doesn't sit well with me. If I do end up deciding to hold my breath and give it a try, then MAYBE my mind might change....but for now, I'm gonna stick with the normal ways......for NOW. Gonna give this some time.

If you want to play a Denuvo game then use the offline activation method through Anti Denuvo Sanctuary. Hypervisor is too much work to play a cracked game. That's a lot of turning off/on important settings that protect your computer
